We’re preparing to grow—expanding our reach with new housing to serve even more survivors on their journey to healing.

But before we can open new doors, we need to reinforce the ones already open. With your generosity to help us reach our Keep Houston Free goal of $400,000 we can care for what’s already been entrusted to us—and build forward with strength and purpose.

This year, we’re in need of a new minivan and a small car to support our growing transportation needs

These vehicles are used daily to take our residents to appointments, essential errands, and educational programs. Though we’re careful to maintain them well, the consistent use adds up—and after years of faithful service, it’s time for replacements.

Dedicated staff, trained and equipped to support survivors through the complex and courageous work of healing.

Investing in the right people isn’t just important—it’s essential. Skilled and trauma-informed staff create a foundation of safety, trust, and consistency that empowers survivors to rebuild their lives. By prioritizing excellence in our team, we ensure that every woman we serve receives the best possible chance at long-term restoration.

The Sparrow House has been a place of refuge and restoration for many women over the years—but after 25 years, it’s time for some much-needed care.

To continue offering a safe, welcoming environment, the home needs several important updates: a new roof, fresh paint and carpets, updated bathrooms, restained decks, new water lines throughout the house, and a secure new front door.

Thank you for investing in our future!
